This morning, my son with so much smiles and glowing eyes pointed to the backyard and exclaimed “Did you see, IT RAINED, IT RAINED” I replied “I know. So, what do you think? :-)”
Its drought here in US. Chicago winter was so mild which we happily enjoyed but it kinda gave us a headsup summer is gonna be bad. But it was worse than w...e thought, we skipped spring. No April showers for May Flowers.
It was reported the great land of America has not suffered such drought since 1950. The 10 acre some natural reservoir behind my house dried up from swamp to arid dry ground. Days were so hot with blows of dry air. We were parched and torched :-(
Rain was in the forecast now and then, but all we had was couple of drizzles for few mins.
Last night before going to bed, My son and I made a special prayer for Rain. There was severe thunderstorm last night. Praise to the lord. Half asleep I could hear the wind, thunder and rain as I tossed and turned in bed, my lips uttered “Hallejuah, Hallejuah”.
